
UTGP 2017 Pikachu T-shirt
Uniqlo received over 16,000 entries - the highest amount ever - to UTGP2017 from all over the world. After a careful selection process carried out by Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Mario, and the Nintendo team, the following creations were selected.

The UT GRAND PRIX (UTGP) is a design competition to express graphics and messages with a free imagination, using T-shirts as the canvas. The competition is open to everyone, regardless of their occupation, age, gender, or nationality, in an effort to support people from all over the world who have rich imaginations and talents.The theme for the UT GRAND PRIX 2017 is Nintendo!Designs themed around characters from Nintendo game series; this of course means characters from Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, as well as those from other series including Animal Crossing, Star Fox, Pikmin, Metroid, Kirby, Splatoon, and even Pokémon too.

T-shirts

Out of over 16,000 submissions, 25 designs were selected for commercialization. One of them featured a pixelated Pikachu on the front and back of the T-shirt. I was the only winner from Hong Kong.
