To address the conflicts between the Marketing Team and the Development Team, we proposed two different approaches and analyzed the pros and cons of each wireframe. By acting as a bridge between the two teams, we facilitated a better understanding of each team's challenges and needs, helping to balance their priorities and foster collaboration..

Design Outcomes

1)

High-fidelity Demo

To present the best solution to both teams, we created a demo for the developers at the Bank of China. This demo was designed to ensure that the app's features met the marketing team's expectations and aligned with their promotional goals. By providing this clear and practical example, we aimed to bridge any gaps between the teams and achieve their shared objectives.

2)

External Component Library

As mentioned earlier, working with outsourced developers necessitates clear communication to avoid misunderstandings about our products' elements and functions. To minimize the risk of errors, we prepared a comprehensive Component Library. This library serves as a standardized reference for images and elements to be used throughout the development process, ensuring consistency and reducing the likelihood of discrepancies.

3)

Hero-banner Design Redesign

To promote the lucky draw features in the BOC mobile app, we studied their branding guidelines and reviewed previously created banners. Based on this analysis, we developed 40 different banner concepts, each with unique directions and themes, for their selection. This approach ensures that the final banners align with their brand identity while effectively highlighting the lucky draw features.

4)

Confirmation Gif

To satisfy a diverse range of target audiences and effectively communicate the success of their registration, we created a GIF to strengthen the message. This approach aims to enhance user understanding and clarity regarding the feature’s purpose, ensuring that users clearly grasp the successful outcome of their registration and are engaged with the main goal of the feature.
